We’re a couple from the UK with one shared obsession… Iceland.
What started as a single trip quickly turned into a passion that has taken us back time and time again. From chasing the Northern Lights and soaking in geothermal lagoons to driving the entire Ring Road through the depths of winter, every visit has left us wanting to explore even more.
That’s why we created Icelandic Adventure.
Our goal is simple: to help other travellers experience Iceland through honest advice, real experiences and practical travel tips — without the fluff. Everything you’ll find on our website and social channels is based on places we’ve visited ourselves, routes we’ve driven and experiences we’ve genuinely had.
How It All Started
One trip was all it took.
Like many people, we booked our first trip to Iceland expecting beautiful scenery.
What we didn’t expect was to completely fall in love with the country.
Even the simple pleasure of pulling over at a random viewpoint and being completely speechless became part of what we loved about travelling through Iceland.
After each trip, friends, family and followers kept asking us the same questions.
Questions we kept getting asked…
Eventually we realised we were answering the same questions over and over again.
So instead of keeping everything in our camera roll and memories, we decided to share it.
And that’s how Icelandic Adventure was born.

Driving Iceland’s Entire Ring Road in Winter
One of our proudest projects so far has been driving Iceland’s entire Ring Road through the depths of winter.
Travelling by campervan, we experienced everything from powerful waterfalls and glacier lagoons to volcanic landscapes, snow-covered mountain passes and some of Iceland’s most spectacular geothermal lagoons.
Along the way, we filmed the entire journey, sharing both the highlights and the realities of travelling around Iceland in winter.
It wasn’t always sunshine and perfect roads — but that’s exactly what made it such an unforgettable experience.
