About Nationalgalerie von Island

Die 1884 gegründete Nationalgalerie Islands ist die bedeutendste nationale Kunstinstitution des Landes. Ihr Hauptgebäude am Fríkirkjuvegur beherbergt vier Ausstellungshallen auf zwei Etagen und zeigt wechselnde Ausstellungen aus der nationalen Sammlung sowie Werke zeitgenössischer isländischer und internationaler Künstler.
