About Aðalból

Aðalból is the innermost farm in Hrafnkelsdalur and is traditionally identified as the home of Hrafnkell Freysgoði, the central character of Hrafnkell’s Saga. A mound associated with Hrafnkell can still be seen nearby, while archaeological finds in the area add further historical interest.
