WHY VISIT

About Grænafell

Grænafell has long been one of Reyðarfjörður’s favourite outdoor recreation areas. Marked routes climb from Fagridalur through a sheltered landscape of shrubs, planted trees, streams and huge boulders before reaching higher mountain terrain, a small lake and an impressive gorge.
