WHY VISIT

About Hljóðaklettar

Hljóðaklettar forms part of an ancient crater row whose softer material was stripped away by enormous glacial floods, exposing the solidified interiors of volcanic conduits. The resulting curved and geometric basalt formations are exceptionally unusual.
