About Hljómskálagarðurinn
Hljómskálagarðurinn is one of Reykjavík’s best-loved central green spaces. The park developed around Hljómskálinn, a music pavilion dating from 1923, and contains lawns, mature trees, walking paths and public artworks beside Tjörnin. It links the city centre with the wetlands of Vatnsmýri farther south.
