About Icelandic Phallological Museum
Founded by Sigurður Hjartarson in 1997, the Icelandic Phallological Museum has developed from a private collection into a surprisingly extensive biological and cultural museum. Hundreds of specimens from mammal species are displayed alongside folklore, artefacts and cultural material exploring the subject from both scientific and humorous perspectives.
