About Imagine Peace Tower

The Imagine Peace Tower was conceived by Yoko Ono as a beacon for world peace and inaugurated on Viðey on 9 October 2007. A white wishing-well structure is engraved with the words Imagine Peace in 24 languages. When illuminated, multiple powerful lights combine into a column projected high into the sky.
