About Langanes
Langanes is among Iceland’s wildest accessible coastal landscapes. Beyond Þórshöfn, increasingly remote roads lead past abandoned farms, beaches and bird cliffs towards Skoruvík and Fontur at the far end of the peninsula.

Getting there and visiting
Access
Roads become rough and remote towards outer Langanes. A suitable vehicle, good conditions and careful preparation are strongly recommended.
