About Rauðasandur

Rauðasandur is one of the most distinctive coastal landscapes in Iceland. Its reddish and golden sands contrast dramatically with the surrounding mountains and blue Atlantic water, while seals and rich birdlife can sometimes be observed around the wider coastal area.
