WHY VISIT

About Remba & Lambafoss

The Remba trail provides a more adventurous way to explore Hallormsstaðaskógur. The route climbs through the forest beside Staðará and passes Lambafoss, a roughly 21-metre waterfall dropping into the river gorge. Higher sections provide broader views across the forest and Lagarfljót landscape.
