About Reykjavík Art Museum – Kjarvalsstaðir
Kjarvalsstaðir is one of Reykjavík Art Museum’s three branches and houses a major collection of works by Jóhannes S. Kjarval, one of Iceland’s best-known twentieth-century artists. His landscapes, imaginative figures and interpretations of Icelandic nature form the heart of the collection, alongside changing exhibitions by other artists.
