La catedral de Reikiavik se alza junto a Alþingi en Austurvöllur y es la iglesia catedralicia de la Iglesia Evangélica Luterana de Islandia. A pesar de su tamaño modesto en comparación con Hallgrímskirkja, ha desempeñado un papel importante en las ceremonias religiosas y políticas islandesas y es uno de los edificios históricos clave del casco antiguo de Reikiavik.
