About Monumento a Ingólfur Arnarson

Según la tradición islandesa, Ingólfur Arnarson estableció su granja en la zona de Reikiavik alrededor del año 874 d. C., después de que, según se cuenta, los pilares de su alto trono llegaran a la costa. El monumento a Ingólfur, obra de Einar Jónsson, se alza majestuosamente en Arnarhóll, con vistas al centro de la ciudad y al puerto.
