About Seyðisfjarðarkirkja

La iglesia de Seyðisfjarðarkirkja tiene una historia inusualmente agitada. Originalmente ubicada en Dvergasteinn, fue trasladada a Vestdalseyri en 1882, sufrió daños por una tormenta en 1894 y posteriormente fue reubicada nuevamente en su emplazamiento actual en 1920. Un incendio durante una renovación en 1989 causó daños adicionales. Hoy en día, su exterior azul pálido conforma una de las escenas más fotografiadas del este de Islandia.
