Fellabær se trouve juste en face du pont sur Lagarfljót depuis Egilsstaðir. Les deux communautés forment en fait un centre de services unique pour les voyageurs, Fellabær donnant accès aux bains Vök, Borgarfjörður Eystri et au côté nord de Lagarfljót.
