About Safnahúsið

Safnhúsið var upphaflega fullgert árið 1908 til að hýsa Þjóðbókasafn, Þjóðskjalasafn og Náttúrugripasafn. Í dag er það hluti af Listasafni Íslands og sýnir íslenska list frá síðari hluta nítjándu aldar og síðar í einni af virtustu sögulegu opinberu byggingum Reykjavíkur.
