About Sandvík

Sandvík er breið, svört sandströnd innst í Vopnafirði. Birgðaskipið Mávurinn strandaði þar í október 1981 og ummerki flaksins sjást enn við fjöru. Ströndin er vinsæl til gönguferða, fuglaskoðunar og fjölskylduheimsókna.
