About The House of Collections
The House of Collections was originally completed in 1908 to house Iceland’s National Library, National Archives and Natural History collection. Today it forms part of the National Gallery of Iceland and presents Icelandic art from the latter half of the nineteenth century onwards inside one of Reykjavík’s most distinguished historic public buildings.
