Jökulfirðir
A remote system of fjords between Ísafjarðardjúp, Drangajökull and Hornstrandir, accessible primarily by boat and wilderness hiking.
About Jökulfirðir
Jökulfirðir forms one of the least developed landscapes in the Westfjords. The fjords cut deeply into the mountains south of Hornstrandir and beneath Drangajökull, with abandoned settlements, remote valleys and almost no modern infrastructure.
