Streitisviti
Small lighthouse at scenic Streitishvarf, surrounded by geological formations and sweeping coastal views.
About Streitisviti
The first lighthouse at Streitishvarf was built in 1922 and remained in service until 1958. The current Streitisviti dates from 1984. Its location beside the geological walking area at Streitishvarf makes the lighthouse an easy addition to a coastal stop south of Breiðdalsvík.
Our practical tips
✓Treat the lighthouse and Streitishvarf trail as one visit.
