About Berufjörður
Berufjörður is one of the classic Eastfjord landscapes encountered on the Ring Road. Steep mountains rise around the narrow fjord while waterfalls descend from hanging valleys and streams. Búlandstindur dominates its southern side, while Teigarhorn, Blábjörg, Fossárdalur and Sveinsstekksfoss provide several worthwhile stops around the fjord.

✓Do not rush this section of the Ring Road — several of the best views are between the named attractions.
✓Combine Berufjörður with Sveinsstekksfoss, Blábjörg and Teigarhorn.
✓Búlandstindur becomes increasingly dramatic as you approach Djúpivogur.
