About Innra-Hvannagil
Innra-Hvannagil is an excellent example of a small attraction that is easy to miss. From the roadside parking area, walk approximately 100 metres upstream until passing a rock dyke that blocks the initial view. Beyond it the gorge suddenly opens, revealing colourful rock formations and an unusual riverbed.

✓Do not turn around when the gorge initially appears unimpressive — walk beyond the rock barrier.
