Kolfreyjustaður is an old church and vicarage site on Fáskrúðsfjörður. The present church dates from 1878 and contains significant historic church artefacts. Local folklore says the site takes its name from the troll Kolfreyja, whose fellow troll lived on nearby Skrúður island.
