Skaftfell Center for Visual Art was founded in 1998 and has become one of East Iceland’s leading cultural institutions. The centre hosts exhibitions, artist residencies, talks and cultural events while helping maintain Seyðisfjörður’s unusually strong connection with contemporary art.
