About Breiðavík

Breiðavík is one of the isolated bays south of Borgarfjörður Eystri and an important overnight point on longer Víknaslóðir routes. The area combines remote coastal scenery, abandoned settlement history and colourful mountain landscapes, with a hiking hut providing accommodation for trekkers.
