WHY VISIT

About Einbúi

Einbúi, meaning The Hermit, is a massive isolated rock formation in Jafnadalur. Its position alone on the relatively flat valley floor makes it particularly striking. The rock is passed on the established hiking route from Stöðvarfjörður towards the natural Stone Arch higher on Álftafell.
